Betsy Boo's Boutique is an online only boutique that was started in 2012 from Betsy's basement. At the time, Betsy had a successful career in real estate- but has always loved clothes, fashion and she will tell you that she has "retail in her blood". In fact, Betsy worked in clothing retail most of her life starting in high school, college, and after. Although she began Betsy Boo's as a "hobby", it quickly became more as Betsy found trendy boutique clothing at reasonable prices and everybody caught on to her fashion sense.
When thinking of a name- she couldn't think of anything and it was holding up her business launching...so she decided simply on Betsy Boo's, as that is what her mom called her all of her life. Betsy lost her mom to cancer years ago and in calling it Betsy Boo's- she knew her mom would always be a part of it. Betsy Boo's is now located in its own warehouse location outside of Cedar Rapids, Iowa- not far from her home where she lives with her two kids and supportive husband, and where all this craziness called Betsy Boo's started.
Although Betsy Boo's Boutique has grown quickly since starting in 2012, Betsy continues to strive to find trendy, stylish, affordable options for all of her followers across the United States. She gets most of her clothing from the fashion districts of LA and NYC- although she has found some fun vendors in the middle of the country too.
