Travel Looks with Betsy Boo's Boutique - The Chicish Chick

I’m constantly on the hunt for anything travel related that will help make my life easier. Gizmos, gadgets, bags…you name it – I’ve considered it!
Travel clothing can be a tricky subject, especially if you’re changing climates from point A to point B. On one hand, long gone are the days where travelers would get all gussied up to fly across the country. On the other hand, you probably wouldn’t be surprised to see your neighbor wearing pajama pants.

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know that I travel for my day job. Travel, therefore, is almost always on my mind.

I’m not a fan of either. I feel sorry for the guy or gal in the suit because – been there, done that. It’s straight up uncomfortable being on an airplane in a suit. Not to mention, when you get to your final destination, you look like a wrinkled mess. Not cute. And the pajama pants? In my opinion, they don’t belong out in the wild – and certainly not on an airplane.

The invention of athleisure clothing has been a game changer for me and has totally changed the way I dress when I get on an airplane. Call me an old lady if you want, but sign me up for all the elastic waistbands! My point: it is entirely possible to be comfortable and look presentable at the same time. Even if you don’t travel for work, you may be gearing up for a much needed getaway or spring break with your friends or fam. You have enough to worry about (like reminding your husband to pack his medication, for example). 🙂 Let me help you take the guess work out of what to wear on the plane with two travel looks from Betsy Boo’s Boutique.

Option #1: Totes casual but still cute. Casual is the name of the game here, but there will be no mistaking this outfit for pajamas.

This leather jacket is also a great staple for hosting brunch with the gals!

Jacket, wearing in L // Tank, wearing in L

Bonus option: If you’re not into leather jackets, simply swap the leather for camo or this beautiful blazer (which has plenty of stretch and won’t wrinkle).

See, just look how much fun I’m having in this camo jacket. 🙂
